We are in our 41st year of serving the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors, we have been working with the top contractors and erectors and their leaders along with our chapters and national board to bring our organization to the forefront as the number one association of our industry representing Metal Building Contractors and Erectors.
We are very proud to announce the formation of the SOUTHEAST CHAPTER representing Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The first meeting of the Southeast Chapter was on January 26, 2008. The Chapter Board was elected and will begin the process of organizing training and educational meetings for the Southeast region. They have some great people on board there!!
The Carolinas, Kansas, Mid-Atlantic, and New England chapters are very active in their areas as well. I encourage you to attend one of the well planned chapter functions and training available. The chapter websites are listed on the right-hand side of this page.
Plans are underway to form a new chapter in Texas. Please contact us with any interest to serve on the Texas chapter board or support the formation of the new efforts in Texas.
The MBCEA formed the Metal Buildings Institute (MBI) in 2001 to be exclusively responsible for contractor and erector education and training programs. MBCEA works closely with the Metal Buildings Institute to promote advancement of the educational opportunities in our industry. Click on the link to your right to view the demo of the Quality and Craftsmanship DVD Training Series. This DVD training series has a testing component for testing the trainee, thus giving them a training certification. This is very important for safety and to meet regulations.
